Drosophyllum - the Dewy Pine or Portuguese Sundew

 

One species of Dewy Pine is known, Drosophyllum lusitanicum, from Morocco, Portugal and Spain.  Successful propagation from seed often requires treatment by scarification or exposure to gibberellic acid.  Propagation in vitro is also possible from leaf tips.
