Cephalotus - the Albany or Western Australian Pitcher Plant

A single species, Cephalotus follicularis, represents this genus.  It is typically found in peaty swamps and has been reported to tolerate salt spray when found close to the ocean!  Plants can be readily propagated from seed but tissues are a bit trickier due to the presence of coarse hairs, making surface sterilization challenging.
